Natalee Bouman Obituary Medicine Hat AB, Therapist at Natalee Heals RMT Died

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Natalee Bouman of Medicine Hat, Alberta — a gifted healer, compassionate teacher, and radiant spirit who dedicated her life to the well-being of others.

Natalee was best known in her community as a skilled Osteopathic Sports Therapist and Trainer. Through her practice “Natalee Heals,” she spent over 20 years easing pain, restoring movement, and empowering clients to take charge of their own healing. She was a Registered Massage Therapist, Exercise Physiologist, Yoga Therapist, and Structural Integrator — but above all, she was a believer in the body’s power to heal and the soul’s need for balance.

Whether in a treatment room or leading a retreat, Natalee’s presence radiated warmth, wisdom, and grounded energy. Most recently, she served as Retreat Owner and Operator at Surf and Sun Yoga in Portugal, where she brought her knowledge and passion to a global audience. Her journey even included the skies, where she worked as a flight attendant for Porter Airlines — always chasing the horizon with an open heart.

Natalee’s path through life was anything but ordinary. She studied Massage Therapy at Medicine Hat College and Kinesiology at the University of Victoria before later exploring her creative side at the Toronto Film School, earning a diploma in Film Studies and Production. Her curiosity was endless, and she lived her life in alignment with her values — movement, meaning, and mindfulness.

Friends and clients alike admired Natalee not only for her knowledge and talent, but for her humor, kindness, and willingness to meet people exactly where they were. Her healing hands, open heart, and adventurous soul touched lives across continents, and her impact will ripple through the many she helped, taught, and inspired.

Natalee Bouman will be deeply missed by her loved ones, colleagues, clients, and the many communities she was part of — both in Alberta and abroad.

In the words she often lived by: “Healing is not about fixing something broken. It’s about returning to wholeness.”
